While appling for re-issue of passport for minor child (below 18 years)

Eligibility:
Applicant should be ordinarily resident of Oman.
Application for re-issue of passport can be submitted:

› If the final validity of the passport is less than one year or within one year of expiry of the passport;
› On exhaustion of pages or on change in appearance.

Requirements:
Applicant should come personally or the documents should have been verified by the Honorary Consular Agent authorized by the Embassy.

Original Passport  ( including subsequent additional booklets if any )

Passport application duly filled in signed by both parents and child should affix his / her signature or thumb impression in the signature boxes.

Two latest identical passport size photograph (4.5 x 3.5 cm without border), in plane white back ground and dress in dark colour..

Guidelines:
In cases where the passport has already expired beyond a period of one year, applicant should submit a delay affidavit

Submit original proof of new address (returnable) & its photocopy (self attested) viz. Ration Card, Voter's identity card, water/electricity bill, running bank account or parents passport copy only if there ia a change in the permanent address:

If the application is found to be in order and no prior reference is required to be made to the original Passport Issuing Authority, a new passport is usually around 5-6 working days from the date of receipt of the application.

Please apply for a seperate passport for Minor child, whose name is presently included in  Mother 's / Father 's passport. Copies of passports of both the parents to be enclosed.

If the passport is required before the delivery date, applicant can apply under Tatkaal (Urgent) Passport Scheme. Tatkaal Passport Fee for minor child: RO 45.400  (  Passport Fee RO 9.800  +  Tatkaal fee RO 35.600  )
